Green Education and Community Action

Green Education: Eco Stewardship Programme

The Eco Stewardship Programme (ESP) in Singapore aims to inculcate responsible and sustainability-conscious mindsets and habits in our students for life. The ESP adopts a whole-school approach to integrate environmental sustainability into schools through the 4Cs: Curriculum, Campus, Culture and Community. In 2023, the Ministry of Education adopted the theme of food sustainability and supported schools through strengthening curriculum focus and resources on sustainable food production and food waste management and setting up facilities for students to apply what they learnt.

Community Action: Go Green SG

We believe close partnerships with community actors foster a more liveable and sustainable home. In 2024, Go Green SG, Singapore’s annual sustainability movement, brought together some 200 partners from across the People, Public, Private sectors to offer 400 activities to rally collective action with a sustainability focus. Our $50 million SG Eco Fund also provides funding support for ground-up projects for a more sustainabile and climate-resilient Singapore.
