Keppel Bay Tower: Singapore’s First Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy Commercial Building

Keppel Bay Tower, Singapore’s first Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy commercial building, is a showpiece of Keppel’s Sustainable Urban Renewal initiative.

By deploying cutting-edge sustainability solutions, Keppel enhanced the building’s environmental performance while minimising operational disruptions, resulting in a reduction of nearly 40,000 tonnes of embodied carbon emissions, compared to demolition and reconstruction. The building is currently about 40% more energy-efficient than a typical office building of equivalent size in Singapore and is the first completed building in Asia to achieve WiredScore Platinum certification.

These efforts have increased the building’s net operating income by over 30%, reflecting the demand for high-quality green offices.
