CapitaLand Group – Sustainability is at the Core of Everything We Do
CapitaLand Group (CLG) demonstrates strong sustainability stewardship through a governance framework integrating CapitaLand Investment (CLI) and CapitaLand Development (CLD) under a unified strategy. CLI’s Executive and Sustainability Committee and CLD’s Sustainability Framework drive the adoption of sustainable design and construction. CLI’s 2030 Sustainability Master Plan embeds sustainability into its business operations, investments, and solutions.
CLG has displayed strong ambition to reduce emissions throughout its value chain. A decarbonisation roadmap guides its efforts to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions for Scope 1 and 2 by 2050. To reduce emissions for Scope 3 activities, CLG collaborates with key stakeholders to adopt innovative design approaches, incorporate low-carbon building materials, and implement efficient construction and operation practices.
As a leader in the built environment industry, CLG aims to adopt energy-efficient technologies, sustainable materials and biophilic design principles. Key landmark projects such as CapitaSpring and Jewel Changi Airport showcase how biophilic integration blends natural elements to improve air quality, enhance ventilation to mitigate the urban heat island effect, and create vibrant and nature-inspired spaces.
Through the CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge and its Sustainability Summit with Eco-Business, CLG fosters green innovation and collective action for a sustainable built environment with the wider community.

Keppel – CCS Feasibility Studies for the Power Sector
Keppel is conducting carbon capture and storage (CCS) feasibility studies for the power sector. This follows a Grant Call launched in October 2024 which invited the industry to explore potential power sector CCS solutions as part of Singapore’s energy transition towards a low-carbon future.
Keppel will study two power sector CCS pathways: post-combustion carbon capture and pre-combustion carbon capture.
The findings from these feasibility studies will allow EMA and Keppel to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the power sector CCS pathways, as well as identify infrastructure and site-specific requirements.
The findings would also provide a useful foundation to conduct more detailed engineering studies in future, such as preliminary Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED) and FEED studies, to further assess the feasibility of CCS to decarbonise the power sector.

PSA Singapore – Electrification Initiatives to Drive Sustainability
The deployment of Electric Prime Movers (EPMs) is a cornerstone of PSA Singapore’s terminal electrification strategy.
In 2024, PSA established its first Battery Charge and Swap Station (BCSS) under a sandbox initiative with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), aimed at fostering innovation and developing new charging technology standards.
To enable the scalable adoption of EPMs and BCSS operations, PSA Singapore is collaborating with government agencies to improve battery lifespan and enhance safety procedures.
Additionally, PSA is exploring second-life battery applications through its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), to promote circularity and unlock cost savings.
