Building a Sustainable Finance Ecosystem with SSFA

Established in Jan 2024, the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA) is an industry body set up by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) together with the financial industry. SSFA fosters collaboration across the financial and real economy to develop Singapore as a trusted, vibrant, and inclusive sustainable finance centre to support the region’s transition to a climate-resilient future. Its priority areas span climate mitigation, natural capital & biodiversity, and adaptation & resilience, supported by enablers such as carbon markets, transition and blended finance, taxonomy, and insurance solutions.

SSFA aims to:

  • Galvanise the sustainable finance ecosystem and promote best practices in Singapore;
  • Facilitate collaboration between the financial and non-financial sectors to drive low-carbon transition and sustainable economic growth of Singapore and the region;
  • Deepen industry capabilities in sustainable finance.
