Building Capabilities and Platforms: Centres of Excellence

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) seeks to develop a vibrant green and transition finance research and talent development ecosystem, comprising Centres of Excellence (CoEs), think tanks and research networks.

Since 2020, MAS has supported the establishment of CoEs in Singapore – (i) the Singapore Green Finance Centre ("SGFC"); and (ii) the Sustainable and Green Finance Centre ("SGFin"). The CoEs pursue Asia-focused multi-disciplinary research and training from these institutions to advance sustainable finance research and talent development for the region.
