The Sustainability Open Innovation Challenge (SOIC) fosters co-innovation among industry partners, government agencies and innovators to drive sustainability.

SOIC drives the development of scalable solutions to address climate issues, from clean energy to sustainable cities. Over the past 6 editions, more than 100 multi-national companies and government agencies have contributed over 120 challenge statements, and more than 1,600 innovative solutions from around the world have been received. Today, SOIC continues to welcome companies to participate and advance sustainable innovations.

To drive innovation in climate technology, the Breakthrough Energy Fellows – Southeast Asia (BE Fellows – SEA) programme was launched by Breakthrough Energy, Enterprise Singapore and Temasek. BE Fellows – SEA funds climate innovators in the region to accelerate critical solutions across electricity, manufacturing, agriculture, transport and buildings.
